Time For A Change

The changing of this season,
Is a reason to be cheerful,
This dark and cold winter,
Has been an irksome splinter,
In our collective mood,
A thorn of woe so rude,
As to strum the wrong strings,
And aggravate those things,
The ones that floor us when we,
Feel fragile and our hearts porous,
But behold the light of day,
May will come, come what may,
A light to linger longer,
And lead us to ponder,
Those stretching hours, ours to enjoy,
Seasonal bliss, much more than a toy,
Without a doubt, your love is king,
Clarity fell and up jumped spring.
